Aventura Yachts has built catamarans in Tunisia since 2000. The Aventura 45 is their 13.5 metre cruiser: a wide, steady platform with a flybridge helm and a saloon that opens straight onto the cockpit. Ace is being built now, in white, with electric motors in place of the usual pair of diesels.

Five cabins, room for 12
Five cabins in the hulls and a double bed in the saloon when you need it, so up to 12 people can sleep on board.

Quiet out of harbour, clean under motor
The boat has electric motors instead of diesel engines. When you motor out of the marina and back in, you hear the water, not an engine, and there is no exhaust or diesel smell in the cockpit. Under sail she is a normal catamaran; the motors handle the parts in between. Even the dinghy runs on an electric outboard.
A week aboard, or a day on the water
The season runs from early April to the end of October.
Day trip
A day out from Valletta, back the same evening. A good way to get to know the boat before a longer trip.

No skipper is included. You sail the boat yourself.
The skipper needs a valid sailing licence.
The skipper also needs experience on a 45 ft catamaran.
